Michael Shannon

Michael Corbett Shannon is an American actor and musician. He is often known by the nickname "Bugeyes," for his distinctive appearance and acting style. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Revolutionary Road. As of 2010, he is a regular on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. His performance in the 2011 film Take Shelter led to further critical acclaim, gaining him the Saturn Award for Best Actor.
